Folkestone Invicta have got five games left to cement their place in the Ryman League Division 1 South play-offs. They won 3-0 at Walton & Hersham last night, although back-to-back Saturday defeats prompted manager Neil Cugley to question the mental strength of his players in this interview.

The sun may be out this week but Sibton Park Cricket Club are still feeling the effects of the bad weather which battered Kent at the start of the year. Flood water at their ground in Lyminge has only just receded and Park will have to play their opening home games of the 2014 season elsewhere.

Kent have re-signed fast bowler Robbie Joseph.

The 32-year-old returns to the club for a second spell, having previously been a Kent player between 2005 and 2011 before joining Leicestershire.

Kent and England captain Charlotte Edwards has been named as one of Wisden's Five Cricketers of the Year. She's only the second woman to receive that particular accolade and she's joined on the 2014 list by Joe Root, Ryan Harris, Chris Rogers and Shikhar Dhawan.

Edwards has led England to back-to-back Ashes wins over Australia in the past 12 months.
