Local county interest in Brands finale
16:44, 29 September 2005
KENT-based British Touring Car Championship team HPI Racing return to Brands Hatch this weekend for the championship’s finale.
When they last came to Brands in June engine problems saw the team pick up nothing more than a couple of ninth-place finishes.
But a change of engine builder to Mountune has gradually reaped benefits for Jason Porter’s team and drivers Richard Williams of Tunbridge Wells and Marden’s Ian Curley.
Tickets cost £10 per adult for qualifying day (Saturday) and £25 per adult for race day (Sunday). Children aged 12 and under go free. Parking and paddock access is also free.
