Local man Fuller to face snooker legend

MEDWAY'S top snooker player Wayne Fuller gets to take on one of the game's legends when six-times World Championship runner-up Jimmy White comes to Kent for the Embassy Snooker Classic. Fuller, a member of Chatham Snooker Club, will face the Whirlwind in a one-off frame at the Black Lion Leisure Centre, Gillingham on Friday, November 2.
The One Frame Challenge is the start of a big night of snooker with the highlight being a best-of-seven exhibition match between White and former World Champion Steve Davis.
Tickets for the event are priced at £12 and are still available from the leisure centre on 01634 283700. They can also be obtained from the Mewday today and Medway Messenger offices at 395 High Street, Chatham.
