Two goals from Jack Parkinson helped Maidstone draw 3-3 at Billericay in the Ryman League Premier Division on Tuesday night.
Twice Parkinson equalised from corners, then Zac Attwood gave third-placed United the lead, only for Geoff Mitchell to level with six minutes left.
Isaac Layne grabbed the first two goals for Billericay.
Moses Ashikodi scored a last-minute penalty winner for Cray Wanderers in a 3-2 home victory over Grays.
Ashikodi and Adrian Stone put Wanderers in front after Danny Bunce opened the scoring for the visitors.
Chris Benjamin looked to have denied Cray when he made it 2-2 on 88 minutes but there was still time for a winner.
Mid-table Margate continued their improvement with Charlie Wassmer's first-half strike enough to beat Met Police 1-0 at Hartsdown Park.
VCD Athletic maintained their two-point lead at the top of Ryman League Division 1 North with a 3-1 home win against Redbridge.
Michael Power scored twice in the opening six minutes, including a penalty, with Karl Dent completing the win before half-time after Lewis Bentley replied.
Herne Bay are up to 16th place in Ryman League Division 1 South after a 4-1 home win over Three Bridges.
Ben Brown's first-half double put Bay in charge and while Tony Garrod struck for Bridges midway through the second half, George Benner and Stuart King scored in the last three minutes to clinch the points.
Mid-table Hythe Town were 2-0 winners at Horsham thanks to goals either side of half-time from Lee Pleau and Shaun Welford.
Whitstable are 10 points clear of the bottom three after a 1-1 draw against Hastings at the Belmont.
Trevor McCreadie put Hastings in front early in the second half but Town equalised on 68 minutes through Dan Keyte's far-post header.
