Tonbridge Angels 1 Bishop's Stortford 1

Tonbridge Angels ended a difficult week with a 1-1 draw against Skrill South play-off hopefuls Bishop’s Stortford at Longmead on Saturday.
Angels remain in the bottom three, two points behind Whitehawk, ahead of a home match against high-flying Ebbsfleet on Tuesday night.
But a creditable draw boosted confidence after 7-0 and 4-2 beatings by Boreham Wood and Maidenhead in their previous two games.
Tommy Warrilow’s side went in front on 10 minutes with Henry Muggeridge and Michael Bakare combining to set up Chris Piper.
Stortford’s George Allen had a goal ruled out for offside as Angels remained in front at the break.
But the hosts were pegged back with 20 minutes left when Cliff Akurang headed home a cross, seconds after Lewis Carey denied Michael Richens.
There was a scare when Richens’ shot hit the post but Tonbridge also hit the woodwork following a strike by Tom Collins.
