Ebbsfleet United won 3-0 at home to League 2 side Portsmouth on Saturday afternoon.

Two goals from Charlie Sheringham and one for Billy Bricknell provided Fleet with their third win over football league opposition in as many friendlies, following recent victories over Dagenham & Redbridge and Charlton.

Newly promoted Dover Athletic also showed their pedigree against football league opposition, drawing 2-2 away to Colchester on Friday night at Crabble. The hosts took the lead through Craig Stone after five minutes, before the Essex side fought back to lead 2-1.

Summer signing Christian Nanetti crossed for Nathan Elder to convert an equaliser with 12 minutes remaining though.

Margate welcomed Wolves under-21s to Hartsdown Park on Friday, where they were 5-1 victors. Jason Prior opened the scoring for the Kent club in the very first minute, with further goals coming from Ryan Moss, Lewis Taylor, Charlie Allen and Zac Attwood completing the victory.

Sam Higgins handed Bromley the lead against a strong Swindon line-up but Michael Smith equalised for the League 1 side in a 1-1 draw at The Fortress Stadium.

A 12th-minute goal from Ian Draycott was enough to secure a 1-0 win for Folkestone Invicta away to Tunbridge Wells, while Hythe Town lost 2-0 at Hollands & Blair.

Ramsgate were 1-0 winners on their visit to Tonbridge Angels, new signing Scott Punton scored the only goal.

Ade Yussuf’s exquisite chip was enough to provide Chatham Town with a 2-1 victory away to Whitstable Town. The visitors took the lead after four minutes through Abraham Alalde before Ryan Golding equalised from the penalty spot but Yussuf secured the win with his second-half effort.

Andy Irvine’s opener wasn’t enough to secure a result for Ashford United, who lost 2-1 away to Faversham Town. Renford Tenyue headed an equaliser for the hosts, before Ashford goalkeeper Joe Mant spilled a Liam Stone cross into his own net.

Sittingbourne lost 2-1 to VCD Atheltic, despite a 70th minute consolation from Harry Smith. A late goal condemned Maidstone United to a 1-0 loss at home to Sutton United.

Cray Wanderers won 4-1 away to Beckenham Town, courtesy of goals from Gary Beckett, trialist Dan Stubbs, a Joshua Silvera penalty and a Jalloh Gassimu own goal.
