Gillingham v Brighton
RONNIE JEPSON has called on the Gillingham supporters to cheer his side to victory tonight.
The Gills boss will be looking for his team to make it three straight wins at home when they face Brighton at Priestfield.
Jepson said: "It will be a tough game and they’ll bring a big following. I need our supporters to get behind us and make it a good atmosphere and get the boys up and at it."
Extra spice will be added to the evening when Bas Savage makes a quick return to Priestfield, after snubbing an extended contract offer with the Gills and joining Albion instead.
Savage left Gillingham at the end of January after scoring once in 14 appearances.
Despite Jepson putting his faith in the striker, Savage opted to make a quick exit when his temporary contract expired, and he’ll be lining up against the Gills.
Clint Easton (calf) and Duncan Jupp (groin) remain doubtful and Gillingham’s line-up is likely to remain unchanged to that from Friday night.
Another ex-Gills player, Scott Flinders, could play tonight after the goalkeeper joined Albion on an emergency loan from Crystal Palace.
Flinders made 10 appearances for Gillingham earlier this season as cover for injured Kelvin Jack.
