A new-four year deal has been agreed between Gillingham FC and main sponsors MEMS, worth over £500,000 in total.
Gills Chairman Paul Scally was delighted to have a locally-based company backing them once again.
Mr Scally, who announced the deal during the end-of-season award ceremony, said: “I am absolutely delighted that a local company and a company of their stature have come in again and committed themselves to a further four years.
“This is one of the biggest sponsorships we have had in the club’s history and it is worth over half a million, over four years, which is a huge commitment by MEMS.”
The Gillingham-based company will also be sponsoring the club’s Football Community Trust.
MEMS’ previous three-year deal expired at the end of the season.
Company chairman and Gills fan Colin Jarvis said: “We have had a marvellous three years and it has gone by so quick.
“It will be the 40 anniversary of our company and it is big for us. We want to have a nice celebration at the end of it and I think four years is a good deal.
“The company have enjoyed the involvement with Gillingham Football Club.
“I have always been a supporter, since I was 13, and I was born a couple of roads away. It means a lot to our company, all of our staff and we love the involvement.”
