WORLD Sidecar racer Tim Reeves will compete in next year's Isle of Man TT race.
Aylesford-based Reeves, who also clinched the British F1 crown this season, will have to switch to a F2 machine for the TT race.
The race, which constitutes three 37 mile laps, takes place on May 31.
It will be Reeves first time out on a sidecar at the world famous circuit, but he will be joined by regular passenger Patrick Farrance, who has raced there before.
Meanwhile, Reeves has been voted Sports Personality of the Year in the BBC South East region and he and Farrance also picked up the Team of the Year award.
The ceremony was held at Gillingham's Priestfield Stadium on Monday.
Reeves was on a shortlist that also included cricketer Mushtaq Ahmed, golfer Danielle Masters and speedway racer Nicki Pederson.
He said: "This is absolutely fantastic. I just can’t believe it.
"To win the team award is really great but I didn’t think I would have a chance in a million of winning the Sports Personality of the Year award as well.
"I just want to thank all the people that have voted for us and all my sponsors and everyone who has helped us this year. I am over the moon."
