GILLS' game at Yeovil was held up for 15 minutes after Efe Sodje was knocked unconscious following a clash of heads.

The Nigerian defender had only been on the pitch for a few minutes, after replacing the injured Ian Cox early on, but his game was ended too after colliding with Yeovil’s Lloyd Owusu.

Sodje was eventually taken away by ambulance to hospital for closer inspection, but was given the all clear later in the evening, after having a gash near his left eye sewn up.

Cox came off after just eight minutes with a thigh injury.
