GILLINGHAM'S on-loan striker Robert Taylor played for an hour for Gillingham Reserves in yesterday's goalless draw against Cardiff in what could be the prelude to him starting at Crewe on Saturday. Fellow forward Marlon King could also return to the starting line-up as manager Andy Hessenthaler considers a team shake-up.

The Gills boss will make a decision tomorrow on whether or not to retain Nigerian international goalkeeper Abi Baruwa who has been having a week's trial at Priestfield after leaving Premier League side Bolton.

"He's worked hard in training but we haven't talked personal terms," said Hessenthaler.
