Gillingham v Crewe
GILLINGHAM manager Mark Stimson will ask his side to avoid defeat at all costs as they face a relegation showdown on Saturday.
Supporters are labelling the visit of Crewe as a "must win" game but Stimson's main priority is to avoid defeat.
Just a point separates the sides and victory for Gillingham will take them out of the bottom four at the expense of their visitors. Defeat would leave Gillingham facing an uphill task of avoiding the drop into League 2.
Stimson said: "We just have to make sure we don't get beat. It's a crucial game and the fans will say it's must win. We want to win it first and foremost but if we don't get that, we want the next best."
Defender Danny Cullip (hamstring) remains out while Nicky Southall (hamstring) and Mark Bentley (ankle) have stepped up their fitness this week but Crewe's visit could be too early for their return.
