Watford v Gillingham

GILLINGHAM travel to Watford tonight for a first round Carling Cup clash.

Manager Ronnie Jepson has a selection dilemma ahead of the match with both Steve Lomas and Ian Cox ruled out through suspension following Saturday's dismissals.

Jepson is likely to turn to Simon King to replace Cox, while Craig Stone could get the chance to face the Hornets in place of Lomas. Also itching to get a chance will be Barry Cogan, who was left on the bench at Cheltenham.

Jepson said: "We'll have a head count and a chat about the Cheltenham game and we'll look forward to going there."

Watford will be heading into the game in buoyant mood following their last-gasp victory over Wolves on Saturday - with the 90th minute winner scored by former Gills striker Marlon King.

Leading the Watford attack alongside King could be another former Gillingham player, Darius Henderson.
