The dismissal of Chris Piper proved costly as Skrill South battlers Tonbridge lost a two-goal lead at Concord Rangers on Tuesday night.
They returned with a point after the second 2-2 draw between the sides in eight days but left wondering what might have been had Piper not been sent off for a challenge on Paul Goodacre 10 minutes after the break.
Relegation-threatened Angels went in front two minutes before half-time with Michael Bakare's superb strike from the edge of the box going in off the post.
And Tommy Warrilow's men doubled their lead in injury-time when Alex Teniola took advantage of poor defending to beat goalkeeper Jamie Butler.
Concord launched their fightback against the 10 men when Steve Cawley struck 20 minutes from time.
The hosts rescued a point six minutes later with Tony Stokes the man on target.
Tonbridge are second-bottom, two points adrift of safety, and play Dover at home on Thursday night.
