It’s great to see Danny Kedwell reaping the rewards of his hard work. He’s scored a goal in each of his last three games and nobody deserves it more.
Keds works hard in training and works at his fitness to make sure he is right for every match.
Everyone always seems to judge a striker on their goals, like it or not.
But let’s not kid ourselves, Keds is not short of confidence. He is not a shrinking violet and if he hasn’t scored in a couple of games, he doesn’t go missing.
He is a proper bloke who stands up, sticks his chest out and says ‘I’m here to be shot at’ – whether he plays good, bad or indifferent.
We have said before, it’s no accident when things happen because people who work hard tend to get their rewards.
Practice doesn’t make perfect, it makes permanent.
