Result-wise, it was disappointing at Stevenage and it was difficult conditions for both.

They had a bit longer than us to prepare, having had their previous two games postponed and we had played a tough game on the Saturday against Port Vale.

But having said that, in the end we were disappointed not to have got something out of the game, considering the amount of chances we had.

The performance was good but ultimately we want to get as many points as we can, as quickly as we can.

Bradley Dack has shown that level of consistency in the last two games that we know he’s got. But the next step for him is to do that over three, four and five games.

The way he is creating goals – four in the last two games – comes down to the work we are doing on the training ground.

We do a lot of drills, a lot of passing and a lot of finishing and it’s also about confidence and he’s got plenty of that.

It was Dack’s ball that led to Cody McDonald scoring his 12th of the season on Tuesday night and he is in a rich vein of form.

Cody is getting into the right positions regularly and if he keeps doing that, he will keep getting chances and goals.
