Kent spinner James Tredwell helped England to a record-setting victory over Sri Lanka in the third of five Royal London ODIs at Old Trafford on Wednesday.
The 32-year-old former Spitfires skipper struck with his first ball of the day, trapping Mahela Jayawardena for 12 to leave the tourists reeling on 59-5 and soon after held onto a catch at second slip to help Chris Jordan post his maiden England fivefer.
Tredwell then had Sachithra Senanayake caught by sub Chris Woakes to finish with 2-2 from his three overs.
The visitors were dismissed for just 67, their third lowest ODI total of all time.
It took England openers Alastair Cook and Ian Bell just 73 balls to rattle-off the required runs to register a 10-wicket win, with the 227 balls to spare the most England have ever had remaining in an ODI chase.
Tredwell has been included in the 14-man England party for the final two games of the series - which England lead 2-1 - at Lord's on Saturday and at Edgbaston on Tuesday.
