3 air-lifted to hospital after crash

KENT Air Ambulance airlifted three people to hospital this morning after their cars were in collision on the A274 at Headcorn, near Maidstone.
The incident happened on Maidstone Road in Headcorn at around 7.35am. Ambulance crews, police, firefighters and the air ambulance were all called to the scene.
None of the injuries were thought to be life-threatening, but all three drivers were taken to Maidstone Hospital to be checked over.
The road was totally blocked in both directions for nearly an hour, but was re-opened at around 8.20am.
