A website to help publicans reconnect with their punters has launched ready for the weekend.
Pub2me is a non-profit initiative allowing taverns in Kent and across the country to sell their food and drink from afar.
At least six Kent pubs are already on the site, including the Farm House in West Malling, and the Dirty Habit in Hollingbourne and the Potting Shed in Langley, both near Maidstone.
Free to use and much like takeaway website Just Eat, Pub2me lets you browse through menus, offering a selection of delicious main courses, scrummy puddings and of course, all your favourite alcoholic beverages to be enjoyed at home.
All you have to do is enter your postcode to find which of your local boozers are open for business.
The contact details, minimum order and delivery method is clearly displayed at the top of each page.
Elite Pubs group, which has 11 venues in the county, was one of the first to join Pub2me.
Spokesman Sian Timmermans said: "We have just re-opened six of our fabulous pubs specifically to service the needs of our loyal customers and communities by offering a collection service featuring some of our most popular food and drink items at very reasonable prices.
"Pub2Me is an extremely exciting and positive initiative and we are so pleased to be part of it."
Spokesman for Pub2Me Chris Hyde added: "This initiative has come to life following a clear Government 'thumbs up' for pubs to operate a food and drinks delivery and collection service.
"Also, the UK public has been very vocal about missing their beloved pubs.
"We all need some positive news, and this should be a real tonic for everyone."
