15:10, 17 April 2013
The A2 is closed westbound at Barham after a lorry and car crashed.
Queues are said to be building after the accident between the A260 and A2050.
Traffic leaving Dover is being advised to use the A20 and the M20.
The eastbound carriageway had also earlier been closed, but is now open.
A motorist was said to have been injured in the crash.
Police were called to the London bound carriageway at 3.17pm following the collision near the slip road.
It comes after a big crash between a lorry and car earlier closed lanes of the M25.
Motorists earlier this afternoon were said to be queueing for 11 miles, with the slip road closed at J5 for the M26 and A21 (library picture right).
Congestion was said to stretch back as far as J7 for the M23.
Lanes two and three were shut since just before 1pm, but they were reopened just after 3pm.
Traffic is now said to be returning to normal.
