Part of a busy road was shut following a crash.
The collision happened on the Chatham-bound A229 at the bottom of the Blue Bell Hill at around 9.30am today.
The dual carriageway heading out of Maidstone was blocked so traffic was being diverted off at the Running Horse Roundabout.
Vehicles were then able to return to the A249 via the Chatham-bound entry slip road.
The road has now been reopened and traffic is easing.
Police and paramedics were both at the scene and were seen attending to someone in the road.
KCC Highways, posting on X, said: "Maidstone, A229 Northbound: The northhbound flyover the m20 J6 Running Horse Roundabout is currently closed due to an RTC.
"Kent Police are in attendance. Traffic is being diverted via the Running Horse Roundabout, expect delays."
Emergency services have been approached for more information.
