Firefighters tackle suspected arson attack as acres of crops destroyed in West Malling

Around three acres of crops have been destroyed in a suspected arson attack last night.
The field in Windmill Lane, West Malling, was set alight at just after 6pm.
Flames quickly spread across the land and crews found several small fires over an area of about 24 acres.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service said the blaze is being treated as suspicious.
Six fire engines attended, as did Kent Police, and spent more than hour at the scene.
There were no reported injuries.
