Air ambulance called after man falls down in Maidstone High Street

An air ambulance was called after a man suffered a fall in Maidstone High Street.
The helicopter was called to assist the South East Coast Ambulance service and landed in Mote Park, but was stood down upon landing.
A spokesman for the ambulance said a man "had reportedly suffered a fall and was in need of medical attention."
He added: "Ambulance crews have attended the scene and the man has been assessed and treated and is being taken to hospital for further checks."
