Albino spider spotted in garden of house in Barming in Maidstone after albino squirrels reported across Kent
12:00, 07 July 2014
Not to be outdone by albino squirrels reported across Kent, now it seems spiders are getting in on the act.
An all-white species was spotted this morning in a garden in Barming, Maidstone.
The lone stranger was snapped making its way across the lawn - leaving the owners in Thyme Walk baffled as to its identity.
A quick internet search would suggest it could be a crab spider - but we'd love to hear from an arachnid expert to determine if the inch-long eight-legged visitor is rare.

The ghostly-coloured guest follows a series of albino squirrel sightings across the county in recent months.
Albino squirrels are supposedly a rare phenomenon - with just 25 of Britain's 2.5million squirrels being pure white.
But nature lovers are proving the theory wrong in Kent with several spotted in Hawkinge, New Barn, Hartley, Longfield, and Herne Bay.
