Peacock found in garden in Kerry Hill Way, Maidstone

A peacock has somehow managed to land in an unsuspecting woman's back garden.
The woman, who did not want to named, found the peacock after returning home to Kerry Hill Way, in Maidstone, from work.
She said: "He's not aggressive. I'm giving him some pitta bread and porridge oats because I have no idea what a peacock eats.
"I have rang the police and no one has reported it."
A peacock is known to live nearby at Allington Marina, but it is not yet known if that bird has been accounted for.
Although it may seem random, this is the second time a peacock has sprung up in a Kent property in the space of a month.
In June a peacock mysteriously appeared in a nursery in Shadoxhurst, near Ashford.
It was initially believed to be a male peacock named Percy that disappeared from his home in Tonge, near Sittingbourne, on May 22 but it is understood owner Natalie Shirlaw has not been reunited with him.
Peacocks can fly but their weight makes them unable to gain much height or remain in the air for a long time, however they can fly for lots of short bursts.
