Appeal after assault on railway bridge

KENT Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted by a youth who approached him as he walked over a railway bridge.
The incident happened in the Fant area of Maidstone when two couples were approached by a group of youths.
One of the youths began to shout abuse and then assaulted one of the men from the two couples, causing a minor injury to his shoulder.
The youth, and the group he was with, are described as aged 15-16 and wearing hoody style tops.
