Appeal as 'dangerous' distress flares vanish

POLICE are appealing for information after seven marine distress flares were stolen from a boat in Sandling, near Maidstone, at about 11.30am this morning.
Maidstone and Malling police are warning the public that these flares are potentially dangerous and should not be tampered with.
Anyone with information about the theft or wdho finds the discarded flares should contact police immediately on 01622 690055 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111
