18:15, 27 February 2017
Police are asking the public to be on the look-out for a teenage boy missing from his home in Stevenage, who it is believed may have travelled to Kent.
Benedict Blackwood was last seen at his home at 4pm on Wednesday.
The 17-year-old, who also uses the names Ben or Benny Williams, is black, around 5ft 8in, slim, with short, black hair.
He was last seen wearing a navy coat, a black tracksuit and black Nike Air Max trainers. He was carrying a black Nike bag with white writing on it.
Officers are growing increasingly concerned for Benedict’s welfare.
Anyone who has seen Benedict or who knows where he is should call Hertfordshire Constabulary on 01707 354000.
