Appeal to motorists after sex attack

POLICE are investigating after a woman in her 20s was indecently assaulted as she walked home in the dark.
The victim was in Upper Stone Street, Maidstone, at the junction with Barton Road, when she was approached by a man and indecently assaulted.
The woman kicked him and he ran off towards the town centre. The woman, from Maidstone, heard traffic passing by during the incident and police believe a number of motorists may have seen what happened.
The attacker is white, aged between 24 and 27, about 5ft 7in or 5ft 8in tall, stocky and clean-shaven, with short, mousey coloured hair. He was wearing dark trousers and shoes.
