Armed officers called to White Horse Lane, Otham, after fight breaks out

Armed officers were called and weapons were seized after a fight broke out on a street in Otham.
Five people were arrested after two groups argued and faced off against each other earlier today, in White Horse Lane.
Individuals carried a plank of wood, a large pipe and the head of a hoover, and Kent Police confirmed a number of weapons, including bladed articles, were seized.
There were about eight people involved in the fracas and a large number of police, including armed officers, were called to the scene.
A police spokesman said the force "was called at around 12.30pm regarding a report of a disturbance in White Horse Lane, Otham.
"Officers attended the scene where four women and a man were arrested on suspicion of affray and taken into custody.
"No injuries have been reported and enquiries are underway into the circumstances."
