A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a crash which killed a motorcyclist and closed the A249 for eight hours.
It follows the collision which killed 33-year-old Joseph Gibbons on Detling Hill on Thursday, September 13.
A 55-year-old man was detained under suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving but has since been released pending further inquiries.
Mr Gibbons, a scaffolder, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene after his red Yamaha bike colliding with a people carrier shortly before 6.30am.
His death sparked an outpouring of grief on social media from fellow bikers and scaffolders as well as his friends and family.
The road was closed for hours afterwards while officers screened off the area.
Investigators are still appealing for witnesses, particularly those with dashcam footage, to come forward.
Anyone who saw the collision or either of the vehicles prior to the collision is asked to call Kent Police on 01622 798538, quoting reference DK/NR/127/18.
