Art lovers have the chance to purchase unique pieces from local artists thanks to a new exhibition.
The Maidstone Art Society’s annual exhibition at the County Hall opened on Friday and will run until Thursday (July 28).
The exhibition houses work from over 100 members of the society from Maidstone and the surrounding area.
The society runs practical events for its members throughout the year at Madginford Hall in Bearsted.
This year’s exhibition was opened by well-known Kentish artist Becky Mair, and was supported by property firm Sibley Pares.
George Wright, the society’s exhibition officer, said: “The society is very greatly indebted to Becky and to Sibley Pares for their help and support with this event.”
Members of the public can purchase works in the exhibition to add to their own personal collections.
