Award for imrpressive customer service

00:00, 17 April 2003

STAFF at Your Move in King Street, Maidstone, have been presented with a gold award for outstanding customer service.

The award is part of an initiative created by Your Move to ensure staff focus on the service they deliver to customers.

As part of this, Your Move appointed 12 brand standards officers who visit their network of more than 300 branches across England and Scotland on a quarterly basis to observe staff as they meet with customers and deal with their requirements.

Reviews are conducted and tests carried out to ensure minimum performance standards are met with gold award certificates being presented to the best performing consultants.

John Wells of Your Move in Maidstone, said: “We’re delighted to receive this award. Although we’ve got some great systems in place to offer a unique service to our customers, the way in which we deal with them on a day to day basis is also vitally important.”

AN ESTATE agency is reminding potential homesellers that the spring is a good time to put their property on the market.

Ray Pentland of Connells, said: “Everyone knows the importance of ‘kerb appeal’ when selling a home.

“With the spring flowers bursting into bloom, but before the summer weeds start to challenge even the keenest gardener, this is a perfect time to put your property on the market.

“We already have a bulging portfolio of people looking to buy in this area and properties right across the range are still selling, although the frenetic activity we saw last year has now calmed down and people are taking longer to choose their perfect home,” he said.

Connells has branches at Ashford, contact 01233 622206, and at Canterbury, contact 01227 764720.
