Baby and two children among injured patients after caravan fire in Chegworth Road, Harrietsham

A baby and two children are among those in hospital after a caravan fire.
Crews in four fire engines were called to Chegworth Road, Harrietsham, near Maidstone. just after 11.30pm on Wednesday night and used hose reel jets to put out the blaze.
Five people were outside on arrival, all suffering from smoke inhalation and some with burns.
Police, paramedics and the air ambulance were all also in attendance.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said: "We were called just before 11.45pm by Kent Fire and Rescue Service to reports of a caravan fire on Chegworth Road.
"Ambulance crews were sent to the scene including the Hazardous Areas Response Team and we were joined by the air ambulance.
"Five patients including a man and a woman and three young patients were treated for injuries including smoke inhalation and burns.
"All were taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford by road."
Witnesses reported seeing a "big plume of smoke and lots of police" at the time of the blaze.
The cause of the fire is not yet known, but is believed to be accidental.
Kent Police has been contacted for comment.
