A MOTORCYCLIST who died after his bike was in collision with a lorry has been named as 20-year-old Phillip Revell, from Hadlow, near Tonbridge.
Mr Revell was riding a black Honda bike near Brenchley Garage, Brenchley Road, Brenchley, at 10.30pm on Saturday when he was in collision with a Foden Showmans Generator tractor unit.
He was taken to the Kent and Sussex Hospital, Tunbridge Wells, but died shortly afterwards. Police are appealing for witnesses.
PC Chris Goddard said: "This is obviously a very tragic incident that we are now investigating. It is possible there may have been other vehicles in the area when the incident occurred. I would be very grateful if those drivers or passengers can contact me as they may have information that will help our inquiries."
* The driver of the tractor unit, a 38-year-old man from Paddock Wood, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink driving. He has been bailed until Friday August 8 while inquiries are carried out.
