Motorcyclist in serious condition after crash in Maidstone

A biker is in a serious but stable condition in hospital following a crash with a car.
The incident - which involved a silver Peugeot 206 - happened on a side road in Maidstone on Thursday evening.
The motorcyclist, who is in his 30s and from the town, was taken to a London hospital by air ambulance.
It happened at about 9.15pm on the side road which runs parallel with the A274 Sutton Road between Northumberland Road and Loose Road.
Officers investigating the incident are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the motorcycle or the car in the moments leading up to the crash.
They are also asking anyone who has dashcam footage from the area around the time to contact them.
