Blaze woman treated for shock

A WOMAN suffered from smoke inhalation and shock after a fire broke out at her home in Wyatt Street, Maidstone, today.
Maidstone firefighters were called just before 1pm after a tea towel on an electric cooker caught fire filling the kitchen with smoke.
The woman was taken by ambulance to Maidstone Hospital. There were no other casualties.
