Boy bruised in collision with car

A BOY of 13 escaped with bruises today when he was in collision with a car in Maidstone. The incident happened at about 11.40 in Bower Mount Road.
It is believed that the boy may have been struck by the wing mirror of a passing car. He was taken to Maidstone Hospital for checks.
It is also believed that the driver of the car may not have realised that the boy had been hit. Police officers are due to talk to the youngster and some of his friends about the incident.
