Boy hit by car in Hermitage Lane, Maidstone, taken to Tunbridge Wells hospital in Pembury with broken leg

A 14-year-old boy suffered a broken leg after he was hit by a car in Maidstone today.
The accident happened at about 2.30pm in Hermitage Lane.
Police said the teenager had a broken leg and his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
He was taken to the Tunbridge Wells hospital in Pembury.
One witness reported seeing two stationary cars and a person lying in the road.
Hermitage Lane has now re-opened to traffic.
