Bridge safety barrier on A21 being repaired
10:32, 13 August 2013
Emergency repairs on a bridge safety barrier has forced the Highways Agency to close one lane on the A21 southbound between Hildenborough and Tonbridge.
Workmen are repairing a parapet on the bridge, although no temporary lights are in place because the road is a dual carriageway.
It is not known how long it will take for the work to be complete, but the Highways Agency expect it to go on until later in the week.
The bridge was damaged in a collision during the afternoon on Thursday, August 8.
