Kent Police helicopter helps find two burglary suspects who targeted recycling centre in Burial Ground Lane, Tovil

A burglary suspect was found in a tree following a search lasting an hour and a half.

The police helicopter helped hunt him down following an alleged raid at the waste and recycling centre in Burial Ground Lane, Tovil, at 11pm last night.

A 23-year-old man was found hiding up a tree in Tovil Hill at 12.30 this morning and remains in police custody.

A 19-year-old man was also arrested following the burglary. He also remains in custody and was caught by police at 11.20pm in Burial Ground Lane.

A police spokesman was unable to say what, if anything, was stolen from the site.
