Burst water main in Coxheath, Maidstone
19:45, 01 September 2017
Homes in part of Maidstone have been left without water for several hours due to a burst water main.
An unspecified number of customers in the Coxheath area have been affected by the problem, which started at around 4.50pm.
It has left some homes with no water and others with low pressure.
South East Water estimates it will take at least four hours to fix.
The company said on its Twitter page: "Techs are looking to re-route water to the area".
It is also said to be arranging for bottled water to be placed at the Cock Inn for those affected.
