Timetable changes on some Nu Venture buses across Maidstone and Malling starting in September
08:17, 26 August 2024
Bus passengers should watch out for small timetable changes starting in September, Nu-Venture has warned.
There will be changes to the 13 and 14 services, from Langley Heath to Maidstone, from September 2 onwards, including the return of a weekday morning departure from Hollingbourne at 9.30am.
Buses on the 22, 23, 23A, 25, 25A and 26 service routes between Maidstone to Goudhurst, during the middle of the day, will now serve Gallants Lane instead of Dean Street, because of planned roadworks there.
There will also be minor changes to Maidstone-bound bus times between 7am and 8am.
The 123 service will now provide departures from West Malling Station to Kings Hill at 8.30am and an extra service at 9am, Monday to Friday.
The company said the number of school students travelling to and from Holmesdale School in Snodland was expected to increase in the new school year.
To provide extra capacity, minor timetable changes are being made at school times on services 149 and 151. Service 549 will be withdrawn, with new buses 550 and 552 providing a part-replacement.
Service 570 serving Wrotham, Borough Green, Offham and West Malling to and from Maidstone at school times will now be operated by Nu-Venture instead of Arriva.
All Nu-Venture bus times can be seen online here.
Passengers can pay with cash or card. Return discounts are available after 9am.
