Maidstone Chequers bus station shut after woman collapses

Bus staff sprang into action after a pensioner collapsed in Maidstone.
Arriva workers rushed to help and one employee started CPR after the woman, who was in her 80s, fell ill.
The incident happened at the Chequers Bus Station in Pad's Hill shortly after 11am yesterday.
The pensioner was taken to Maidstone Hospital in Hermitage Lane in a serious condition.
The bus station was closed for around 50 minutes while emergency services were at the scene.
