13:00, 10 September 2017
A motorway was partially closed after a car burst into flames.
The people carrier-type vehicle caused problems for motorists on the coast-bound M20 between J3 for the M26 and J4 for the A228 Leybourne and Snodland turn off.
Jim Collins wrote on social media: "M20 coastbound before W Malling turn off. Car fire, already tail backs to M26."
Two of three lanes were closed, but had reopened by 2pm.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 12.26pm on Sunday, September 10, regarding a car on the hard shoulder of the M20 between junctions 3 and 4 that had caught fire.
"Police officers and Kent Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene where the fire was extinguished. None of the occupants suffered any injury.
"Highways Agency officers are at the scene where two lanes were closed while the vehicle was recovered."
