Flooding has caused travel chaos across Kent this morning, with abandoned cars blocking route and roads left impassable.
The A228 has been closed and sink holes shut the M25 at Sevenoaks earlier.
Local roads have also been shut because of heavy rain overnight, causing traffic to build elsewhere and homes to have flooded.
Cars have been abandoned after flooding in Bull Road, Birling.
Motorists are being told to avoid Boarley Lane in Sandling, Maidstone where there are reports of flooding under the M20 bridge.
In West Kingsdown the A20 London Road and Hatham Green Lane are both flooded, please use an alternative route.
In nearby Neal Road, a woman and her dog had to be saved from waist high flood water.
In Dunton Green, Sevenoaks there are reports the A224 Polhill is closed due to carriageway flooding between Shoreham Lane and Starhill Road.

"Traffic on the A228 heading towards the M20 was also bad as people like me got to the roundabout near the country park and went around it to go back towards the motorway."
Two homes are thought to have flooded in the town.
The closure has caused traffic to move on to Blue Bell Hill where there are added delays compared to the usual rush hour traffic.
