A shop worker was left shaken after a robbery at a Maidstone off-licence.
The employee was forced out of the way during the raid at Plonkers Wine Merchants in Loose Road, yesterday.
Two men entered the shop at about noon and when one approached the till to pay for a drink, the other went behind the counter, pushed the cashier and stole a small amount of money.
DC Jonathan Pearce said: "The victim was not seriously injured but he was understandably very shaken up.
"This incident happened in the middle of the day and I’m hopeful that members of the public may have been passing and seen two men acting suspiciously, or running from the store, and could assist with our inquiries."
Both suspects are white and are in their 20s.
One is slim and about 5ft 7ins. He has a ginger wispy bear. He was wearing a black baseball cap and a mauve lightweight jacket.
His accomplice is around 5ft 10ins and stocky. He has short black hair and was wearing a black lightwear, zip up jacket.
