A fundraiser scheduled to do a charity sky dive this morning was thrilled when a well-known face turned up.
Rose Link is a volunteer with Canterbury's Pilgrims Hospice, and was due to do a sponsored skydive at the Headcorn Aerodrome this morning.
Her family and friends had gathered to support her, but got a big surprise when Carol Vorderman suddenly appeared.
The celebrity maths whiz had just completed her own skydive in aid of The Tigers Paratrooping Team.
This display team is part of the Princess of Wales' Royal Regiment.
Mrs Link's team were thrilled to have photos with Carol, who was happy to meet and chat with them.
Unfortunately the Pilgrims Hospice skydive was later called off due to high winds, and has been rescheduled to next Friday, August 4.
To donate to the charity, go to their base on London Road, Canterbury, or donate online.
