A popstar has expressed her sadness after her superfan and "best friend" died suddenly.
Jalisa Forsyth from Maidstone has been described by friends and family as a 'beautiful soul' and an 'amazing girl' as people remembered her on social media.
All About That Bass singer, Meghan Trainor posted a touching tribute to Jalisa who had followed the star since the beginning of her career 10 years ago.
She wrote on Facebook: "I am so devastated by the news of my sweet Jalisa’s passing. Since the very beginning of my career I always had a beautiful familiar face at every single show, all over the world, supporting me and making me smile.
"Jalisa was always more than just a fan, she treated me like I was one of her best friends and I felt the same about her.
"She made friends everywhere she went and brought people together from all over the world.
"I will never forget Jalisa and she will forever be a member of the Megatron family. My deepest condolences go out to her family and friends.
"I love you forever and always, Jalisa. I’ll keep you in my heart and bring you to every performance with me forever."
Cheryl Cole also sent her condolences to the family on Twitter.
The Fight For This Love singer wrote: "I am eternally grateful to her and for her.
"I'll never forget her."
The family have set up a JustGiving page in the former Maplesden Noakes student's memory to raise funds for Poole Hospital, where she was born.
Mum, Patricia Forsyth, wrote on the fundraising site: "This page is dedicated to the memory of our beautiful Jalisa.
"In her honour we would like to raise funds for a charity. We have chosen the Neonatal Unit at Poole Hospital, quite simply because Jalisa loved babies and this is where she was born.
"Since we received our tragic news, all of our family have been overwhelmed by the love and support of Jalisa’s many friends and we are truly thankful."
Jalisa also attended University of Chester where she studied Business Management and Commercial Music Production.
