A music legend will be staging a question and answer session in Maidstone this summer to promote his new autobiography.
Former drummer with The Jam, Rick Buckler, will be releasing his book, which he wrote with help from Maidstone author Ian Snowball, in May.
The musician met bandmates Paul Weller and Bruce Foxton at school in Woking and they went on to form The Jam.
The group split in 1982 and he formed Time UK and ran a recording studio and played for various bands.
As part of the promotion for the book, That’s Entertainment, he will be touring the UK doing question and answer sessions, one of which will be at Maidstone United’s stadium off Royal Engineers Road on Friday, June 5.
That’s Entertainment is published by Omnibus Books on Monday, May 11.
